How do I buy an item?

Find a listing you like and click "Message seller to buy". This opens a direct conversation with the seller. Agree on price, payment method, and delivery or collection between yourselves.

OddMatches facilitates connections between buyers and sellers. We recommend using a tracked payment method and meeting in a safe public place for in-person exchanges. Always check the seller's profile and reviews before buying.

Can I make an offer below the asking price?

Absolutely — just mention it in your message to the seller. Many sellers are open to reasonable offers, especially for items that have been listed for a while.

How do I list an item?

Click "Post an item" from the homepage or header. Add photos, a title, description, category, condition, and price. You can post it immediately or save it as a draft to finish later.

How many photos can I add?

You can add up to 4 photos per listing. We recommend using clear, well-lit photos from multiple angles — listings with photos get significantly more interest.

How do I mark an item as sold?

Go to your listing's detail page or your profile, and use the "Mark as sold" option. Sold items are hidden from public browse but remain visible to you in your profile.

Can I list a "Wanted" item?

Yes — use the "Post a wanted item" option and select "Wanted" as the listing type. This lets other members know you're looking for something specific, and they can message you if they have it.

How do I reset my password?

Go to the login page and click "Forgot password". Enter your email address and we'll send you a reset link. Check your spam folder if it doesn't arrive within a few minutes.

Currently, messages are text-only. If you need to share additional photos of an item, we recommend agreeing to exchange contact details with the other party.
