OddMatches works because people treat each other well. These guidelines exist to keep it that way. By using OddMatches, you agree to follow them.
Be kind and respectful
OddMatches is built on trust between strangers. Treat every member the way you'd want to be treated — with patience, honesty, and good faith. Rude, threatening, or discriminatory behaviour of any kind will not be tolerated and may result in your account being suspended.
List honestly
Describe your items accurately. Include clear photos, the correct condition, and any relevant details (size, brand, defects). Misleading listings damage trust and waste everyone's time. If something is sold or no longer available, mark it as sold or remove the listing promptly.
Communicate clearly
Respond to messages in a timely manner. If you've agreed to a sale or swap, follow through. Ghosting a buyer or seller after agreeing to a deal is unfair and harms the community. If plans change, let the other person know as soon as possible.
No prohibited items
Do not list anything illegal, dangerous, or against our terms of service. This includes counterfeit goods, weapons, controlled substances, or items that infringe on intellectual property rights. Listings of this nature will be removed immediately and the account may be banned.
No spam or fake listings
Do not post duplicate listings, placeholder items, or listings designed to drive traffic elsewhere. Each listing should represent a real, physical item you own and are willing to sell, swap, or give away. Spam accounts will be removed without notice.
Report problems
If you see a listing or message that violates these guidelines, please report it. Use the report button on any listing or contact us at [email protected]. We review all reports and take action where needed. Your reports help keep OddMatches safe for everyone.
